Subculturez got its start way back in 1999—not in a studio, but in a sandwich shop across the street. Founder Michael Young was slingin’ subs and dreaming in ink when he opened Orange City’s first and only tattoo shop. The name? A nod to those greasy beginnings and the underground vibes that built us.

Fast forward to December 2023, and the torch has been passed to Brissa Behrens, tattoo artist and owner of Anatomy Divine—a bold artist and community firestarter who’s keeping the tradition alive (and turning it all the way up). Under her leadership, Subculturez is still the same unapologetic, no-BS shop it’s always been—just with a fresh edge and even sharper needles.

We’re proudly planted in Orange City, Florida—still holding it down as the only tattoo shop in town. Whether you’re getting your first piece or adding to a full sleeve, Subculturez is where locals and wanderers come to get marked with meaning.
